Small Angle Grinder

I've recently purchased a small angle grinder for cutting old fittings/small bits of metal work out of walls.

The blades are wearing down, not just from the outside where you'd expect,but also from the centre. I assume i'm either rubbish at fitting the blades or i'm using the wrong blade?

Any pointers?

Yes - fit the correct blade. You are obviously using blades which have a different bore from that required by the grinder.
