Toilet leaking from where cistrrn sits on pan when flushed

by loga » Mon Sep 28, 2015 1:29 pm

Hello

Apologies if this is a very simple/quick fix problem.

Whenever I flush my toilet, water leaks from where the cistern sits on top of the basin. Please can anyone advise on what could be the cause?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Usually its the "do-nut" ring between the cistern and the pan. On some close couples its the cistern fixing bolts.

ither way the only thing to do is to "break" the two parts of the WC and clean and replace do-nut (with a rubber one) and equally tighten bolts.
