I have a broken toilet seat. It is from Traditional Contemporary who ceased trading. I have bought a seat which fits but I cant get the little metal fixers down into porcelain loosened to remove them. They turn with an allen key but don't come out. The old system has hinges separate from seat which I removed with smaller allen key. Any idea how they can be removed?
