hi guys my freind has just had a new boiler fitted by the warm front scheme which is a great boiler a valiant trouble is they havnt fitted any trv's on the system which my freind has asked me to fit for him my question is is it okay 4 me to put them on 4 him im qualified to do so just wondering about regs wi it being a warm front installation also tho he isnt complaining cause he only had to put £300 towards it the total cost was £2976 i thought for that price the valves shud av been included ?

WTF - so would I.
Yes fit away but don't put one where there is a room stat(that's IF they fitted one)
Put inhibitor in after fitting too.

cheers steve yes they fitted a wireless programmer n stat at least somethin was right lol

WTF Indeed.

Table 2 on Page 15 of the Domestic Heating Compliance guide is quite clear that they SHOULD have been fitted. Has the Inspector seen it? If he has he should have spotted it and there would be no need to complain.

Coupled with the other thread on a similar subject I'm starting to wonder if Warm Front are now specifying that their installers should provide their own horse! LoL.
