the wires already in the light switch are two red to L & one red to L1 nothing to L2 and two earth wires to box.
The wires from the down lights are brown blue & green i have tried all ways putting the blue & brown in everyway i can do why do my under cupboards lights still not work.

There is no neutral at a switchs so it'll never work. No offence but you clearly do not have a clue what you'r doing! Get a pro in.

Most light switches have no neutral connection. You need to take supply from ceiling rose.

HI I was told when i purchased the lights that i could take them to a plug or light switch
i prefered them to come from the light switch as then i would not have to have a plug dangling down also using one of the sockets up.
thankyou for the advice
