2 WC's, 1 waste pipe?

Post by noodle » Thu Jun 05, 2008 8:33 pm

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to have 2 WC's, back to back either side of a partition wall, running from a single waste pipe into the stack.

I want to build an en-suite adjacent to the existing bathroom, and wondered if I needed 2 waste pipes from the soil stack or if I can use the existing WC waste pipe and attach the new WC to this.

All help appreciated! Thanks.

It is quite reasonable to use two WC into one soil pipe provided the falls are arranged to prevent one flushing into the other.
