Warped Pine Doors

Post by algy » Thu Jul 05, 2007 12:38 pm

I have several old pine door in my house which are badly warped - over an inch out of vertical from top to bottom.

Anyone got any idea how I can 'dewarp' them?

Cheers

Al

Unfortunatly there isnt a way you can. I normally alter the door frames to suit the doors by either rebate planeing the door linings(internal door frame) or moving the door stop on the frame so it falls inline with the door. Please dont tell me youve had them dipped!! A change from constant tempreture doesnt help either. hope this helps. Leo.
