Wetroom help

Post by chimpy » Mon May 14, 2007 6:14 pm

Has anyone got any advice on the following please

I purchased an aquadec AD2 and 10 metres of tile safe a while ago and would appreciate some advice. I am using aquapanel

Link removed as potential advertising.

in the wet room shower area and plan to install the tilesafe up the wall by 40cm and cover the whole floor, then tiled to a height of 2.4 metres, is this all OK? Also, do I need to tile the whole bathroom (walls) (3 m long x 2.4 m wide by 3.3 m wall height) I was originally only going to tile 1.2 metres up the wall outside the shower area. Outside of the shower area the walls and dry lined (plaster board on battens), will this suffice for the areas not in the shower, or do they need replacing with aquapanel or similar?

Thanks in advance
