Thats a bit of a broad question! are you looking for tips on style, or types of tiles suitable for use in those areas?
or have you some ideas and want them expanding?

When choosing the type of bathroom flooring for your home, consider the durability of the product under wet and/or damp conditions. Bathrooms have to endure the harshest weather conditions in your home such as heat, steam and moisture. There are marble and laminate flooring to choose from. On the other hand, when selecting the type of kitchen flooring for your home, consider the durability of the product under high traffic and/or damp conditions. Every kitchen has to withstand the constant traffic from everyone living in the home, friends and family. You could consider ceramic and marble tile for this.
