Hi, i am planning on making some steps for a shed, i will have a length on each side with grooves cut in them to hold 3 steps. i wanted the steps to be 200mm deep X 50mm thick X 1000mm wide. But as you can probably tell i am new to working with wood and i am unsure of what type of wood to use, if anyone has any suggestions i would be very greatfull.
