Wiring in tv and phone face plates for SKY+?

Post by worm » Tue Nov 27, 2007 1:03 pm

I want to put TV and phone face plates in several rooms around the house.

I want to get SKY+ multiroom (+1) and therefore need a loftbox

This has a Triplexed DDU Decombiner output plate TV+Radio+Sat+Sat+Return (lounge) and a Triplexed Decombiner output plate TV+Radio+Satellite (bed room).

Sky+ also needs a telephone point in each room where SKY is to be viewed, can anyone advise, help or direct me to a site where a diagram of how these are wired in if you already have SKY+!

Thanks

I used a company called First Line Digital in Saltney North Wales but not allowed to post links. Also I know that Screwfix sell the loft boxes now if you look on that site I am sure you will find name of manufacture and from that their outlets. I was not impressed with mine as a radio ham I found it was too wide band and caused TVI so removed and fitted quad LMB and free to air sky box in bedroom. Because of hobby I have band pass filters in all TV leads but for you it may be OK.
