Hi. My boiler was turned off for 5 months because of an unrelated flood(flexi cable under the bath) and we had to move out. Since moving back in we get about 10 seconds hot water then it goes luke warm. If we turn the tap down to just about a trickle then it gets hot again.
Scottish Power boiler care came out today and said we are not covered for what he thinks is a blockage in the plate heat exchanger.
Two questions.
1) Does that sound right?
2) Could the builders have done something to cause this with all the dust created fixing my house?
I know nothing about any of this stuff, sorry!
