    worcester 350 combi

    Postby ollie7489 » Thu Apr 14, 2011 5:35 pm

I have a Worcester 350 combi and I have a small problem with it in the winter when the central heating is on the hot water is fine but when the central heating is switched off the boiler trips the trip switch on the top of the boiler I rang up for worcester to come and repair it and they say they no longer service this model , it is 14 years old, they want me to buy a new boiler. does any have any advice what it may be that is causing this to happen? as I do not want to call any engineer out unless they have experience on this boiler as I might end up gettting lots of parts for it and end up still having to have a new boiler thanks in advance

Sorted I found out what the problem was so if any one else has the same problem it is quite easy to sort out. the problem was the thermistor on the hot water system it cost just over £10 to buy the part and took about 30mins including draining hot water system on the boiler and refilling
