I want to wire a three gang light switch to operate three banks of seperate lighting (one way only) is there a diagram available to include the positive and negative live feed?

Yes see projects electrical, lights and switches it is not normal to have any neutral wires taken to the light switch. Some times is original wiring included 12 volt lighting it may be done.
There is no positive and negative as such in household A.C. systems we have two LIVE wires one called LINE the other called NEUTRAL plus the earth wire. Often the LINE wire gets referred to as LIVE be careful when reading to work out if the writer means Line when he says Live I see this has happened in our projects section.
