i replaced a two gang light switch in the hall,which contolled a light downstairs which had 2 switchs and one on the stairs which had 3 switches, the old switch was marked l1,l2,l3 and c now i can turn the light on downstairs but it wont turn off upstairs. there is an intermeidate switch upstairs

MINGEL
TWO WAY AND INTERMEADIATE SWITCHING CAN B DIFFICULT
TO WORK ON IF NOT COME ACROSS BEFORE.
I THINK YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF CONTACTING YOUR SPARKY.
