I’m in the process of building a small 400mm high brick wall to separate my garden and drive way. It’s only going to be single skin to match existing brickwork. My question is will 100mm hardcore and 100mm ballast and concrete be sufficient to mount brick work on to? I would assume so as I’ve done some research. Also once I have dug a trench for the wall foundations what’s the best way to compact the hardcore as it’s too narrow for a wacker? Any helps and suggestions appreciated
