We have a ramp next to our staircase from our decking leading down into the garden. This ramp1 is partially supported by our neighbour's fence. The timber frame is still intact but the wood covering on top have disintegrated. The stupid ramp was already there when we bought the house. Apparently the ex-owners built it as a "slide" for their daughter. We just want to cover this up. Removing the timber frame is not an option since it is attached to our neighbour's fences, there's a risk of destroying his fence panels. We'd appreciate any advice we can get on the most appropriate replacement material to cover it and how to make it waterproof so we don't have to replace it every few years. It doesn't have to be load bearing as we have no plans to slide down it.
