aircon for a tiny room to be used as a refrigerator

by johnorford » Sat Feb 27, 2016 2:48 am

I have a small space, about 3 cu.m, which is well-insulated and can be made clean smooth and air-tight. I would like to use this as a refrigerator running at around 18-21 degs, Quite a few things needs this temperature, e.g. red wine, ale and bread, but as I live in the tropics, the choice is usually 32 degs or 7.
I thought of using car aircon, until I realised that it's belt driven. Can anyone suggest a solution for me? I can handle all cleanliness and food safety matters; all I need to know is how to cool it down.
