Hi Folks

We have recently had a Hormann electric garage door opener fitted with a roller type door we are very pleased wth it, the internal light is a bit poxy so we would like to link it ot our existing 2 x 6ft strip lights (240v), any ideas on how to do it.

regards

Looking at web site all I can find is as standard it has 40watt bulb. If this is electronically switched on to connect discharge lighting (strip lights) could cause problems. Is there any further information with the doors? Also what happens when your inside the garage and you close the door? A micro switch or movement sensor (PIR) may be better with no connection to door electrics. PIR may be set off with heat from car and micro switch would switch off light if you close door while inside garage.
