Balancing Radiators

by gotabelt » Sun Dec 04, 2011 2:20 pm

Can anyone give me any advise on how to balance radiators? Being an engineer I would assume that those nearest the boiler would not have the lockshield valves open as much as those furthest away. Am I on the right track?

That is one of the considerations. Generally, you crack open half to a full turn the lockshield valve on the hottest radiators leaving the cold rads fully open.
