i have a Baxi Solo 2 pf which comes on and heats the water - sometime later the burner goes off and the casing feels very hot - the overheat light does NOT come on. The water is Not heating enough to heat the HOT water enough and the central heating is ONLY warm. Any ideas? The burner eventually comes on again but goes off again shortly afterwards. :wink:

Has or could the thermostat on the boiler been turned down ?

Has the heating system been drained recently ?

Vent radiators and pump to let any air out of the system.

what is the pressure gauge reading on the boiler ?
