Best shower for upstairs bathroom?

by Janesudz » Thu Feb 25, 2010 2:40 pm

Hi All,
We've just moved and have the worst electric shower in the world ever. I need advice on the best shower to get for an upstairs bathroom. We have a combi-boiler which is the furthest point in the house distant from this bathroom! And there is also no radiator or hot water connected to the hot water tap in this bathroom (I know, still scratching our heads). Should we go for the best electric shower and possibly have to upgrade the cable, or get a mixer shower and connect it to the water supply from the boiler. Would the pressure be affected (ie be rubbish) by the shower being so far away from the boiler? Can a pump be installed to help with the flow? We are going to connect the hot water and put a radiator in an some point.
Any advice is very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Jane

Janesudz,
Get a mixer shower, forget electric, no you can't fit a pump.
