boiler problems

Hi
my boiler is igniting ok, my programmer and room stat are ok,but my radiators and hot water tank are staying cold.PLEASE HELP
from a very cold Emma

Hi Emma,

Lots more info on your system needed, but check pump is working, if tanks in loft ,check the small one has water in it?

Hi Steve
Thanks for your advice, I have checked the small tank in the loft which has water in it. I have checked the pump which is in the airing cupboard,
the pump is warm but the two pipes either side of it are cold, the pump is made by British gas and the info on it says service exchange 5 metre head.Also the pipework either side of my boiler is also cold.

Hi again,

On the pump is a big screw in the middle- remove this (some water=rags)
You will see if the pump is turning and it will release any air trapped.
Then post back pls
