Boiler will not stay lit

by gumgirl75 » Sun Jun 22, 2008 10:36 am

I have a Glow Worm Hideaway 40B boiler and the pilot light will not stay lit. Any ideas? Someone said it could be the thermocouple and that it's cheap and easy to0 replace. What do we need to buy to do it and can somebody talk me through the process step by step. Appreciate your help.

Hi,
It could be the fan is not working. The same symptoms happened with my Gloworm Fuel Miser boiler and I thought it was the thermocouple but it was the fan. You need to isolate the mains from the boiler to replace the fan.
