We are due to start an extension soon and are having trouble matching to the bricks on the house. So what I know is:
- The house was built in the 30's
- The house is in Staffordshire
- The bricks weight is 4.1kg a brick
- They are Imperial
- They are smooth
- This may just be me but the bricks seem almost shiny they are certainly not matt in appearance
I have also included a photo. If anyone has any idea what these bricks are called I would be grateful if they could tell me, we have had some merchants round to match the bricks however only one has got close to a match and his prices seemed very steep.
