Can I cover the Mains Electricity supple cable in concrete?

by birdy » Tue Aug 21, 2007 8:15 am

Hi,

Am putting concrete floors throughout the downstairs of my 1930's semi.

All the main service enter through the hallway, the electric goes under the staircase and enters the fusebox, what do I have to do to the cable to protect it before laying the concrete?

Am concerned that if I contact supplier they will insist on doing something themselves at mega cost ...

Please can someone offer advice ....

Thanks :0)
