Can I install showers for high pressure systems?

by richhe » Thu Mar 26, 2009 9:38 pm

Hello. My shower has broken, and it's time to get a new one. I have a Heatrae Sadia MegaFlo unvented mains pressure water heater. Some of the mixer showers say that you can only install them if you have a high pressure system, whereas others say that they can be installed in low and high pressure systems. How do I know if I have a low pressure or high pressure system? (I'm presuming that mine is a high pressure system but wanted to know for certain before forking out over £200)

Sorry for what probably sounds like an inane question to most.

Cheers

Rich

If your system is at mains pressure that would be a high pressure system. Well high compared with the tank in the loft anyway and thats what the shower people are driving at.

Cheers
