Can someone recommend a small cheap electric sander?

Postby imb123 » Thu Apr 15, 2021 3:43 pm

I'm looking for a small electric sander. For some jobs even a delta sander (93mm across) is too big. I'd really like one the size of a 3M rubber sanding block (70mm x 125mm). This doesn't seem to exist, which mistifies me. There is a Mirka 70mm x 198mm, but that costs a fortune. It's too much for something I'd use occasionally, especially as I just spashed out on a Deros 150mm (great for large flat surfaces). The main job for a narrow sander would be those skirting boards that slant towards the wall from about half way up. That profile seems very common. A delta sander would gouge the floor and wall doing that bit. 70mm would just fine. Any advice?
