Can't Fit Blinds in our new Office as it's a Listed Building

Post by Samp87 » Thu Jun 14, 2018 1:57 pm

Hi,

I was hoping that someone may be able to help me, or give me some ideas to a problem I have.

I have recently moved into a serviced office, and whilst the office is beautiful, cost effective and a great place to work, it's a listed building. The windows are great as they let lots of natural light in, however at certain times of the day the light is unbearable as it hits my screen and reflects back into my eyes.
I was hoping to have blinds fitted, but have been told today that as it's the original ceiling that would need to be drilled, it can't be done.

I was hoping there may be some solution, or if anyone knows of a product that could maybe cover the window frames?
I've recently tried some tinting vinyl on the panes of glass, although this doesn't look great and is only a temporary solution.

Can anyone suggest any ideas?

Thanks in advance
