How do I change a pendant light fitting to a flush fitting one please? Do I just remove the pendant and push the wires up, then fix on teh flush light? Thanks!

Much depends on the fitting. If you can physical retain the ceiling rose this is best way as not only does the rose contain the wires for that light but others in the house also. If you can't fit it and ceiling rose has to be replaced then be very careful to note where the blues and blacks go it must be the most asked question when people have not noted the wires and then can't get that light or other lights in the house to work. Read in the projects area how it is done. If your not sure don't try it as it is the biggest request on this on how to correct when they get it wrong. Remember to switch off power before working on it at the consumer unit it will still be live if only switched off at light switch.
