Ceiling rose with two outlets for second pendant light

by nuteski » Sun Jan 17, 2021 9:29 pm

Hi all

I want to add a second pendant from a ceiling rose on a radial lighting system. I'm ok doing basics like changing switches, outlets, roses etc. but wanted to check my wiring plans.

I've found a rose with two outlets here:

https://www.lampsandlights.co.uk/shop/ceiling-rose/ceiling-roses-with-two-outlets/

I'm assuming I should just replace the current rose blocks with standard triple connectors for feed / pendant / pendant, one each for live, neutral and earth, but haven't done something like this before and am always wary of making assumptions haha

A. is this the right approach and B. will there by any issues with dimming etc?

Any constructive advice welcome

Your theory sounds correct, but dimming has nothing to do with it.
Dimming depends on type of lamps used and dimmer switch used.
