central heating tank in loft

hi help please my tank in loft wich feeds my rads is back filling and overflowing getting sludge from rads in tank ballcock valve new water seems to come up from rads thank you for any info yours sin mick

Hi Mick,

Sounds like it's pumping over, if you have speed settings on your pump-- turn it down and then report back.

top up tank overflow

hi overflow seems to have stopped since turning pump down rads not working down stairs now thanks ?

Is it coming up the feed pipe (ie from the bottom) or the vent pipe?

The coil in your cylinder has gone. You need a new cylinder.
