I have an Ideal Classic LXFF & FF fanned flue boiler which is now problematic with hot water.
When I select hot water on the timer it gives me central heating but when I select central heating I get central heating, but no hot water in either case.
Any ideas? I have changed the timer for a new one as it was suggested this might be faulty.

Take a look at ur 3 port motorised valve, cos it sounds as the switch for hot water is faulty. however i think on its rest state the valve is on hot water.
