Column Radiator Cold all other Radiators Hot

Post by kellyd1975 » Tue Oct 20, 2009 1:56 pm

Any ideas how I can resolve this problem, I have switched on the heating for the first time this year and the only radiator not heating at all is the downstairs bathroom column radiator. Do I have to set the valves in some way or should it at least warm up without touching them..I have a 4yr old that may have played with the valves. HELP PLEASE !!! :(

Assuming the rad used to work before, it may need bleeding or perhaps one or more of the vlaves has been closed. Just turn them both anticlockwise and see if any heat comes out. Try and make a note of how many turns you make so that you can return the valves to their original position should this not work .
