Combining bath and basin wastes? All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Hi all

I apologise if this has been posted before.

I just wanted to know if it is possible to combine bath and basin wastes into the same waste outlet?.....I ave been advised that you may have gurgling noises.

Is it best practise to separate the wastes??

As the piping is going under tiles in the bathroom we want to make sure this is correct

I always try and give each unit it's own waste. Regulations state that too. However, occasionally, it is impossible to do so.
