I am just about to embark on a new project by building my wife her new workshop for her business.
The workshop size is 6.5m x 3m. The workshop height will be 3m The construction will be timber due to no current footings under the 6" concrete slab Timber size will 4x2 c24 treated timber for walls and roof with 400mm centres The walls be timber clad externally and 12mm WBP Ply internally Roof will be 16 degrees:
My question is this
I want to use proper concrete tiles or slate, none of this shingles crap. However, I am slightly concerned about the weight of the tiles and whether the timber structure will take the load. Do you think the structure will take the load?
