Connecting an LED Panel to a Wall Socket?

by dscanlon » Mon Nov 25, 2019 9:51 pm

Hi there,

I recently bought an LED panel, with the idea of fitting it into a cabinet to provide light while better using the space. The panel came with an LED driver - photos attached. I'm trying to figure out the safest way to connect the driver (which has 2 wires, one blue, and one brown) to a 13-wire, 13A plug? I'd be very grateful for guidance, if someone has tried similar before?

Thanks!

Why can't you not trim the wires length and fit a plug to the brown and blue?

If the flex is too short can you not lift up the blue section of the driver and replace the cable?

Well, I wasn't sure if it was that straightforward - this is my first attempt at a task like this :) Thanks for the tip though, appreciated.
