consumer unit in bathroom??????

Post by chrisbarber615 » Wed Jan 27, 2010 10:28 am

i am living in a flat that has got a consumer unit and electric meter installed in a cupboard attached to the wall,

i am aware of the zones in a bathroom i.e no electrical items within zone 2 (within 0.6M of bath)

The consumer unit is outside of zone 2 by about half a metre, so is this ok or not?

please help.

chrisbarber615,
If you are saying that the electrics are in the bathroom and access is in the bathroom then no it is not OK.
