i just knocked down a brick kitchen cupboard in a 1950's built 1st floor flat. the wall of the cupboard appears to come up through the floor from the flat below (floorboards fitted around the wall, not wall built on top of the floorboards) and continues on up through the ceiling to the flat above. oops.
i didn't think much about knocking it down the cupboard because i spoke to a couple of neighbours who have removed the same wall and was assured it was a non bearing wall.
does anyone have any thoughts from the photos?
i went to tell the neighbour above what had happened and he was surprisingly fine about it. no sign of any movement in his wall yet!
