Dimmer switch on low voltage lights

Postby Unit1 » Sun Sep 30, 2007 10:47 pm

I have just replaced my kitchen light switch with a dimmer switch, the switch worked six 20w low voltage recessed lights, when I turned the dimmer up I heard a clink and now three of the bulbs dont work? do you think that there is two transformers, and would the dimmer cause one to blow?
