Disconnecting LPG Gas Hob Ready for Kitchen Refit

by bitstreams » Sun Jun 10, 2018 9:40 am

We are stripping out an old kitchen ready for the kitchen to be replastered and then re-fitted. There is a gas hob running off a bulk LPG tank. I can isolate the gas supply using the tap outside but this isolates the whole supply so would remove the feed to our bolier, so no hot water.
There's likely to be a couple of weeks between removing the hob and the new hob going in. Looking at the picture is it possible that there's a 'tap' actually in the connection to the hob that would isolate it?

Obviously all caveats about touching something gas etc. Just need to know if it's an easy thing to do when I ask a local trade to help.
