Does anyone know if you are starting a plastering business weather it is a requirement to have qualifications!

I only really want to start with small patching type jobs!

Any advise would be greatly appriciated!

Cheers.

Hi leahchinnock,
There are lots of different courses that offer qualification, but you don't really need them. It is nice to have them on your CV, but customer reputation is the key.

Thankyou to kbrownie for replying, i am just a little worried i will come accross jobs that i have committed to and then find it too difficult to finish, i do not want a bad rep!

I am not bad, i know that it may seem wierd to people being a female and all but plastering is an art form isn't it, and everyone has to start somewhere! i love it!

I have had a few enquiries already which is a good sign.

I am going to plaster my hall ceiling and then advertise.

Cheers x
