Dormer Extension Lead Flashing and Letting Light Through

Post by legepe » Fri Dec 14, 2018 10:36 am

Hi all,
I am having a dormer extension built and re-roofed..
The tiles they have used for the roof are Calderdale and are flat with no ridges in them.
I have noticed that the lead flashing from the dormer to the roof tiles seems to let light through..! and I think would not be water tight? see attached
Is this bad workmanship..? and if so, how should this be done?
Any advice very welcome.
Thanks

See builder show him where light is coming in?.
There should be soakers under each tile on roof where it meets the dormer. up to top of the dormer. The flashing covers soakers with rise of flashing under tiles on side of dormer.

See on YouTube 'fitting dormer corners and speakers in just lead' slate roof but procedure same.
