Dripping in Toilet Tank and can’t Seem to Affect it

by Fatboyslick » Sun Oct 08, 2017 10:53 pm

Hi

It’s driving me mad - the tank in my toilet is continually dripping.

I’m a complete amateur but it sounds like it’s from the large middle section which is home to the two flush buttons (not the overflow pipe . This turns 90degrees clockwise and anti-clockwise which makes different levels of depth to the dripping noise.

Any ideas

Hi

There should be no water inlet near the flush buttons so it shouldn't be them. You will have to take the lid off and watch the inside of the cistern to see to see where the drips are coming from

Hope this helps

Kind Regards
