Dry or Wet Rot After Leak in Roof?

Post by Jordansearle » Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:35 pm

Hi All,

We recently had a leak in the roof that was dripping onto one of the timber beams in the attic during the storms and had this fixed recently. The timber was soaked but is now dry, however, one of the beams looks different colours (pictures attached). Could this be dry or wet rot?

Many thanks,
Jordan
