Exhausting Laser Cutting Fumes Thorugh Soil Stack

by Mikeo123 » Thu Aug 15, 2019 4:36 pm

Hi, I am a newbie... so any help would be much appreciated. I want to buy a Laser Cutter and use it in my garage which is connected to the house, however, the exhaust fan is quite noisy and a bit smelly with the cutting fumes. So I don't want to fall out with my neighbours. I wanted to change the fan for a silent running fan and exhaust into my soil stack above any wastes from toilets /showers etc so the smell exhausts out the top of the stack which is above my eves... is this OK to do ? ...... and has anyone got any idea the sort of M3 /h fan size I would need to blow the exhaust up the pipe and out the stack, standard house... thanks in anticipation
