Hi, new to the forum. I hope someone can give me a tip. I wanted to service my extractor electric motor, as it wouldn't spin anymore, and I cannot take the outer case apart. It's like they've been wleded together. Has anyone seen anything similar?
I have managed to lock the ball shaped sintered bearing and free them on the shaft and re-lubricate them. But often they start to rotate in the housing instead of shaft, and only cure is replace whole motor.
With some thing like a Myson fan assisted radiator it is worth the effort, but with extractors it is not really worth the effort just replace whole thing.
