Faulty Inlet Valve Causing Cistern to Continually Fill

by Drybs » Wed Jan 09, 2019 2:11 pm

My cistern is continuing to fill due to the inlet valve dripping a small amount of water into the cistern after the float shuts off the supply. I have adjusted the float height with no success and can feel the water pressure continuing to push water when it shouldn't.

Is the solution to purchase a new inlet valve or can the water pressure be adjusted? Any help would be very appreciated as I am a complete novice.

Thanks
