Filler and patches coming through primer

Post by Fynci » Sun May 17, 2009 7:07 pm

Hey all,

I'm hoping that somebody will be able to assist. I have a bedroom wall with decent plaster on, so I filled the few gaps/cracks, and then put on my primer - ready to paint the wall red.

Unfortunately this is what has happened:

The filler is showing through the primer, and the rest of the wall is patchy/runny. What can I do? I don't really want to add the paint now if it is going to look like this.

Any assistance/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Fynci,
Try adding a couple of coats of your chosen finishing paint to a small patch of the worst area - it should look OK.
end

Can't see it - the image has been deleted.

Cheers
