Filling in tarmac along edge of garage conversion

by joeteagle » Sun Feb 06, 2022 7:34 pm

Evening all. I recently finished my house refurb inc garage conversion but now I have a gap between the driveway and the garage converted wall. Can anyone tell me how I would go about filling it in please?
Am I right in thinking that I would put some ballast in there and throw in some cold lay Macadam on top and compress it down? Do i need to use that Ultra Crete SCJ too? I'll post a couple of pics.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi joeteagle,
Probably worth make the ballast a weak mix with cement, let it set then ram in some cold lay macadam. Have the macadam in you house getting warm so it is easier to work.
